According to Adam West, everyone on the set of Batman was a big happy Bat-Family
If you need another reason to love Adam West, look no further. Not only did he play the Caped Crusader, but he was also a downright nice man.
According to an interview, it didn't matter to West that he was starring in his own television show; he went out of his way to be kind to every actor and crew member he met on the set of Batman.
"I am trying to work this series my way," West said during an interview with the Liverpool Echo. "We are all a good, happy team on Batman. We are all important to each other, at least that is how I see it. Yes, of course, we are all a team."
West knew he was a star, but he also knew that getting conceited wouldn't help anyone.
"After all, I have been acting for 12 years," West said. "I am 32 now, and this is my job, so what is there to get all up about? This is why I want to know everyone on the set, and it doesn't matter what their job is, they are one of us. I think it is a happy crew, and we are trying to keep it so."
West was proud of his work in television and was willing to do anything to keep his picture-perfect Bat-Family.
"This week, after Batman got such a terrific name, I have had three multi-picture contract offers from major studios," the actor said. "But I shall be in Batman a long while yet."
